AGOSTO V. CAYABYAB

Mr. Agosto V. Cayabyab is the current school head of Agdao IS who was officially installed last August 9, 2022. Despite being new to the family, Mr. Cayabyab is already exhibiting his competence in leadership and management, as seen in how the AIS community unceasingly progresses into becoming one of the best institutions in the country. Attesting to this is the recent achievement of Agdao Integrated School where, for the fourth time, it grabbed the championship title and was dubbed as the ‘‘Best Implementing School’’ under the Mega School Category (Elementary Level), during the Division Brigada Eskwela 2023 Awards. This feat reflects Mr. Cayabyab’s headship that is worth emulating. On-going renovations and curations of school buildings and offices are what Mr. Cayabyab has been working on since his installation at AIS. And, the school community, alongside stakeholders, is very much elated to be working with him for a long period of time to give birth to more innovations for the betterment of this highly-competitive organization.
Dr. Gerry C. De Guzman is the 5th principal of AIS where he started to govern on September 2018. Dr. De Guzman is a proactive school leader who empowered his staff to accomplish task with exceptional fervor and a builder of a strong connection with the community and stakeholders for the development of AIS. On his leadership the AIS consistently recognized for its effort in preparation for Brigada Eskwela that received awards such as National Best Implementer of Brigada Eskwela – Mega School Category in 2019 and Division Best Implementer in Brigada Eskwela in the New Normal in 2020. He was also known as a transformative and innovative man. He transforms AIS to become more conducive for the learners for learning by building and renovating infrastructures in school. He initiated different innovations for the students, teachers, community and stakeholders’ welfare until it became the Best Practices of School. By these, he was awarded as the Most Innovative School Head and AIS was awarded as the Most Innovative School, Most Cleanest and Greenest School, and Plantdemic on 2021. In addition to these achievements, Seal of Good Goverrnance and Operations in School Based Management in 2019 was awarded to AIS. For all these exceptional achievements, AIS was featured in Kumustahan Rehiyon Uno by Deped Region 1 on June 2021 as a representative of San Carlos City Division. Dr. De Guzman still continue to serve AIS dedicatedly for the students, school, and community of Agdao.

ADELMIRA M. MENDOZA, EdD

Dr. Adelmira M. Mendoza, became the 4th principal of AIS from May 2018 – September 2018. Although Dr. Mendoza served AIS in a short period of time some projects was done during her leadership such us concreting of pathway from SHS Building to JHS Buildings. Dr. Mendoza was remembered by her transparent and fair leadership also with her trust and acknowledgement on teachers’ achievements for the students.
ROLANDO C. SALVADOR
2015 - 2018
The 3rd principal of AIS was Mr. Rolando C. Salvador who lead the school from 2015 - May 2018. The leadership of Mr. Salvador was the birth of numerous infrastructures in AIS such us 2-storey Senior High School Building, 2 Buildings of 2-storey Junior High School Building, Grade 2 Rooms, and Grade 5 Room. Repair of elementary and JHS classrooms, finishing of AIS Gymnasium with bleachers and elevated flooring, concreting of Mabolo Park, and concreting of different pathways was also done during his term. The Greatest achievement of Mr. Salvador is when Senior High School in AIS was approved on 2016 offering Academic Track - General Academic Strand and Technical Vocational Education Track - Information and Communication Technology – Computer System Servicing.
ARLENE B. CASIPT, EdD
2013 - 2016
Dr. Arlene B. Casipit was the 2nd Principal of AIS from 2013-2016. Dr. Casipit was known for her leadership where she focused on blending people together with the school and community. She strengthens the relationship of the school to the stakeholders. She believes that if the teachers have a good relationship with each other they can cooperate well and do their job excellently for the students. The official newspaper of AIS in JHS, The Weavers Journal was established. Along with the establishment of TWJ, seminars and trainings where conducted for the student journalists and school paper advisers and started to join Division Press Conference. From then, the AIS was started to be recognized as home of the best journalist in San Carlos City Division.
ELLEN C. DE GUZMAN, EdD
2010 - 2013
Dr. Ellen C. De Guzman became the last principal of AES and be the 1st principal of AIS. During the term of Dr. De Guzman, Agdao Elementary School became Agdao Integrated School on June 3, 2011, where the school started to cater Elementary Pupils and Junior High School Students. The pioneer teachers to teach JHS students in AIS was hired like Mr. Peter C. Rosario, Mr. Bobbit Dale Bulatao, Mrs. Gilda P. De Leon, and Ms. Jeanny Joy Solomon. Because of the shortage of teachers in JHS, Mrs. Mildred De Vera and Mr. Onofre Y. Mendoza was tapped to teach in JHS. Infrastructures like the GMA Kapuso Building and Arenas Gymnasium was erected. AIS started to recognize as one of Best Brigada Implementer and represent the Division in Regional Search. The start of becoming Integrated School of Agdao is not easy but because of the help of barangay officials, stakeholders and the community, AIS was established.
